The group has grown over the last 7 years to comprise various companies and divisions to provide commercial finance on a national or international basis from small SME loans through to multi-million project finance.

Alexander Zuk BSC (HONS) FCCA
Group Director
A Chartered Certified Accountant whose career started in accountancy practice almost 15 years ago before moving into the industry 10 years ago where he worked primarily in structuring and creating investment vehicles and accounting for Private Invest Funds and Bond Issuers. During this time he observed the successes and errors of other bond issuers and commercial lenders from an objective perspective before starting the first company now in the Quay Financial Group in 2019.
Through his time, working with these previous investment groups, and continuously since, he has built up a network of professional contacts and introducers who have helped make valuable institutional and professional introductions to our group. Alex is extremely technical and diligent, applying caution, analysis and care to everything he does.
Lucas Farghaly BSC (HONS)
Group Director
Lucas has worked in recruitment and HR for over 10 years and has a degree in Accounting & Finance. He first began his time with Quay as a third party recruiter assisting with high end technical role recruitment before joining the group officially as a Director in 2025.
Since joining (and before joining) he has played a key role in the expansion of the Quay Financial Group bringing strong professional networks and the latest in technology skills.
Lucas coordinates all of our high end systems and technology.
Peter Henderson
Group Director
Peter Henderson is a 30 years time served institutional lending executive with senior leadership experience across Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Technology. He helps organisations develop with strong governance, having worked closely with regulators and boards. His experience spans major programmes at Bank of America MBNA, Lloyds Banking Group, Honeywell, TSB, and Diligenta, along with advisory and board roles including Loans.co.uk.
He has delivered major financial and operational outcomes through automation and leading large‑scale ERP, regulatory, and integration programmes.
Colin Carter
Sales Director
With over 20 years’ experience in financial services, Colin has worked closely with financial advisers and boutique wealth managers to build strong professional relationships and support growth-focused outcomes.
He has extensive cross-border experience with fund managers, private equity and family offices across the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Malta and the UAE and has helped raise and place significant capital while maintaining a strong understanding of multi-jurisdiction regulatory frameworks.
Colin is passionate about client satisfaction and long-term value creation for future generations. He approaches complex situations with a solutions-led mindset, turning challenges into practical opportunities.

Accounting and Audit
The Quay Financial Group Ltd and its subsidiaries have been subject to professional 3rd party independent audit since inception. Quay Financial Group Ltd has completed its 4th consecutive audit. Following developments in early 2025 and the introduction of a new ultimate holding company Quay Financial Holdings Ltd, the entire and broader business units have recently consolidated into the now larger group and will be subject to audit as at 31st December 2025, which will include the original Quay Financial Group Ltd, its subsidiaries and all other recently added businesses, this will provide for continuing visibility to stakeholders.
Banking
Quay Financial holds accounts across various companies with major world banks along with more localised banking too. Quay Financial also holds various payment services accounts and is able to lend and operate in all major currencies including but not limited to GBP, USD, EUR, JPY, HKD, AUD, CAD, NZD, CHF.
Legal (for borrowers)
The primary solicitors, or “attorneys”, for Quay Financial are a major national firm. This experienced firm handles loan and finance transactions on behalf of Quay Financial and liaises with both UK and international legal representatives and correspondent attorneys as required to ensure smooth lending, securitisation and loan closing processes for our borrowers and their solicitors or attorneys.
